About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia (License #013131). I graduated from The University of Southern California (USC) with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Musical Theater. Following graduation, I worked as an animal behaviorist for nine years before earning my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University (GSU).

Rebecca Pollock, MS, LPC

My love for animals and belief in the human-animal bond inspired me to include therapy animals in my counseling practice. I have two registered therapy animal teams through Pet Partners: my dog Koda, and cat Tiggy. In addition to supporting individual counseling, together we visit hospitals, schools, and assisted living facilities to interact with clients and students to provide animal-assisted therapy and activities.

By forming a collaborative, trusting relationship, my goal is to reframe each challenge into an opportunity from which my clients can learn and grow. I believe in equity and treat every client respectfully. I value all identities and enjoy working with people who are open to the counseling process regardless of their race, religion, ability, sexuality, ethnicity, or gender.
